The capture and execution of Roger by the World Government brought a change throughout the world. Roger was known as the "Pirate King," the strongest and most infamous being to have sailed the Grand Line. Alongside the mysterious group calling themselves the Demon Slayer Corps, Tanjirou will do whatever it takes to slay the demons and protect the remnants of his beloved sister's humanity. Consumed by rage and hatred, Tanjirou swears to avenge his family and stay by his only remaining sibling. Worse still, the sole survivor is his sister Nezuko, who has been turned into a bloodthirsty demon. Having concluded the series in late 2014, Masashi Kishimoto kept himself busy penning continuing adventures in the Naruto world, including the manga Naruto: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring and the story for Boruto: Naruto the Movie, both of which focus on the title character’s son, Boruto.It has been two and a half years since Naruto Uzumaki left Konohagakure, the Hidden Leaf Village, for intense training following events which fueled his desire to be stronger. His first version of Naruto, drawn in 1997, was a one-shot story about fox spirits his final version, which debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1999, quickly became the most popular ninja manga in the world. After considering various genres for his next project, Kishimoto decided on a story steeped in traditional Japanese culture.
